Canadian Tire Jump Start

Jumpstart also helps community groups provide high-quality programs for local youth. From developing swimming programs to distributing activity kits filled with equipment, not only are the kids given the chance to participate, but local sport and school programs also benefit from Jumpstart’s help.

Cyrus Centre is an inner city mission, providing a safe and welcoming place for youth to get food, shelter, do laundry, have a shower, receive referrals, advocacy and exit the streets. They also offer 4 beds for emergency shelter, outreach services and a satellite foodbank.

Empowered By Horses

Empowered by Horses offers unique programs that teach personal power and build self-esteem. Learn the practical skills of horsemanship, including liberty work, stable management and equine psychology, while forging partnerships based on compassion, mindfulness, and leadership. Individual and group sessions are available.

Restorative Justice

Provides support to both victims and offenders, allowing an incident to be resolved directly between the affected parties without going to court. ARJAA also works with Abbotsford Schools, delivering training in conflict resolution for staff, students and their families, and helping schools implement Restorative Action—a restorative justice program specially designed to address bullying and other forms of conflict in schools.
