As the temperature begins its graceful descent, we're thrilled to roll out our 2024 Winter Wonderland of programs at the Abbotsford Youth Commission. Brace yourselves for a season filled with warmth, fun, and exciting opportunities!

• Lifeskill Courses: Dive into the winter season by acquiring valuable skills to stand out professionally. Our Babysitting (ages 11-15) and FOODSAFE (ages 14-18) courses are perfect for levelling up their know-how.
• Youth Night Extravaganza: Drumroll, please! Youth Night (ages 12-16) is back, bigger and better. Save the date for January 23 and 25. Hurry, secure your spot now for a guaranteed good time!
• Warm Vibes at the Youth Centres: Escape the winter blues at our FREE fully-staffed drop-in Youth Centres (ages 12-18), open daily from Monday to Friday. No chill can touch us; our Centres are warm all year round! Please check out our calendar for the confirmed hours!
• Free Open Gym: Join the fitness fun at ARC on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3:15-4:30 pm. It's the perfect way to stay active and energized!
• L.E.A.D. Leadership Program (ages 14-18): Be the captain of your ship! Join the L.E.A.D. program and learn leadership skills by planning and delivering an event during BC Youth Week (May 1 – 7). Certificates and T-shirts await our stellar participants! You can earn eligible volunteer hours!
• FOCUS: Mental Health & Resilience (ages 13-16): Drumroll again! Introducing our BRAND NEW program, FOCUS. Tailored for ages 13 to 16, this mental health and resilience group offers seven (7) workshops exploring self-awareness, thinking traps, boundary setting, anxiety, and stress. Your well-being is our priority!
