Every February, the AYC celebrates Pink Shirt Day to help young people stand up against bullying.
On February 22, we asked the young students at W.A. Fraser Middle School and Colleen and Gordie Howe Middle School: How do we build others up?
Our amazing team of youth workers and practicum students had A BLAST engaging with the students from Colleen and Gordie Howe Middle School and W.A. Fraser Middle School! The answers were overwhelmingly heart-warming with many kind and uplifting messages - and, of course, pizza & chicken nuggets!
All of the answers created "the Wall of Kindness," which we proudly display at the two mentioned middle schools for the youth to interact!
February is coming to an end, but kindness is forever active and available within us!
