50 guests, including people from APD, Abbotsford Heat, Cyrus Centre, DEARS, Restorative Justice and the Abbotsford News turned out to lend support to our annual Pink Shirt Day Rally! The youth created a Pledge Wall to reaffirm their commitment to keeping the AYC a safe place for everyone to come and cut loose! The weather was ideal for taking to the streets with our posters! We even made the front page of the Abbotsford News J Fighting for equality and justice is hungry work and the participants were treated to tasty pizza after the Rally, YUM!
