Abbotsford Youth Commission currently has 3 fulltime staff and 3 part-time staff members:
Bev Olfert, Executive Director, has worked with youth in Abbotsford for
thirteen years. Most recently she was the support worker at New Beginnings and before that she worked in various capacities with youth and families for
Abbotsford Community Services. Since September 1998, she has coordinated the Just For Girls program for the Youth Commission. Bev has a passion for youth work and is excited about working for the Abbotsford Youth Commission in her new role.
When the sun is shining Bev likes to go camping, hiking, and kayaking. When it is not, she prefers to stay indoors and read, go to movies and hang out with her friends.
Bev is responsible for the entire running of the Youth Commission. She loves to chat and get to know new people and she is always looking for suggestions about programs and services that could be useful in the community. Come on in and have a chat.
