The friendships across cultures Program matches Canadian youth with new immigrant youth to facilitate understanding, provide orientation to Canadian society and build feelings of connectedness. We also offer leadership, team building, employment readiness and community service workshops.

WE OFFER:

  • Up to 12 weeks of ESL / COMPUTER / LIFESKILLS TRAINING
  • Strength Based Assessment and Portfolio Development with a Money Incentive

South Asian Community Resource Office (SACRO)

The South Asian Community Resource Office (SACRO) works to prevent and reduce criminal and gang involvement of South Asian youth in the Abbotsford community by providing outreach, mentorship, and individualized wrap-around programming to youth participants. Youth Facilitators also provide youth, families and friends with community services and resources that may be needed.
