A worker will support the youth as they attempt to leave street involvement, or support the youth and family to maintain the youth in the home. As well, they will ensure the youth's basic safety needs are met, such as helping to find food, shelter or medical attention.

Ages: 12-18
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm

Parent of Teen Group - Youth Resource Centre

Raising a young adult can be a challenge. Parent of Teen is a weekly group to support the parent and offer tools and strategies for effective parenting. Topics covered include: conflict resolution, self-care and adolescent emotional development.
