Grade 7 & 8 Dances
Info for Parents
- Youth are asked to show what is in their pockets or purses when they enter the dance to ensure that no contraband is brought into dance
- All doors are watched to ensure that youth do not leave without our knowledge and that no one enters the dance without our knowledge
- Youth are not allowed to leave the dance and come back, they are allowed to stand outside the front door for air
- Police (youth squad) are there to build relationships with youth and to help chaperone
- We have many adult chaperones and youth volunteers
- Adults are not allowed into the dance unless escorted by one of our staff members to ensure the safety of the youth
- Youth must have pre-purchased tickets and valid student ID to get into dance
- We host a concession for snacks (candy, chocolate bars, pop, water)
- Dance starts at 7:00pm and ends at 10:00 pm
- Please pick up @ 10:00 pm
- We do have a coat check BUT we do not take purses. Please encourage your child to put what they need in their pockets and leave their purse at home
